The James Berlyn Jazz Trio!
The Berlyn Trio is a jazz project headed by James Berlyn, an accomplished baritone saxophonist based out of New Haven, CT. Born and raised just outside Washington, DC, James Berlyn started his musical endeavors in high school playing on the streets of his home city. After training with many great mentors, including Jacob Rodriguez of the Michael Bublé Big Band and Steve Alford of the Count Basie Orchestra, James spent some time in New York City before settling in New Haven as one of Connecticut's most in demand jazz improvisers. He is joined by Eneji Alungbe, an up-and-coming bassist who has been making a name for himself as one of Connecticut’s finest bass players; and Max Caserta, a accomplished freelance guitarist whose technical blues stylings are sure to dazzle any crowd.
